The first part of the event was dedicated to the eClinical solutions. Data MATRIX CEO Ivan Dobromyslov presented a review of clinical trial solutions development, and spoke about the influence of current regulatory and management requirements on the products. He also analyzed special aspects of patient-centric research, described new opportunities of trials with mobile devices and specificity of projects with big databases.

Data MATRIX COO Kristina Leus demonstrated leading the project through the MATRIX CTMS at all stages: creating project, team setting, investigational sites selection, creating and deploying eCRF, prosecuting the product in Pharmacovigilance module, working with budget, tasks planning and completion control.

In the second part of the meeting, the leading industry biostatisticians shared their experience of working with clinical trial software. Director Statistical Analytics Oncolology Clinical Development Pfizer Dmitry Pavlov presented new trends in early clinical trials. Federal Research and Clinical Center of Physical-Chemical Medicine Biostatistician Irina Bondareva gave a detailed presentation of programs for clinical data analysis, validation and some specific products as a software for sample size determination, adaptive design, modeling, pharmacokinetick analysis, etc.

May 31, 2017 Data MATRIX hosted a networking event at the Bertinchamps Brewery in Gembloux, Belgium.

After a welcome drink and a presentation of Data MATRIX all guests had the honor to follow the owner for a full visit of the Brewery. It was followed by networking communication while tasting all the wonderful Bertinchamps Beers, along with local Delicatessen and cheeses.

Two biggest European partnering conferences were held in a row this March. They gathered the representatives of pharmaceutical companies, biotech startups, specialized investors and other industry players.

BIO Europe Spring, held in in Barcelona (Spain) this time, took place for 11th time and welcomed Data MATRIX for the 3rdin 2017! 2,5 thousand participants from 58 countries arranged more than 15 thousand meetings. Business Development Director in Europe Jay Rugiero represented Data MATRIX at the conference. Jay has met with over 20 companies in Barcelona, mainly CROs willing to outsource services to Data MATRIX data management or statistics teams. The event will take place in Amsterdam (Netherlands) next year.

DIA Annual EuroMeeting in Glasgow (UK) took place on March 29-31. A hard-driving program covered all topical questions of the industry. The participants discussed regulation of medical devices, regulation in different regions of the world, risk management and pharmacovigilance, clinical trials issues, software solutions for clinical data management, working with patients for better interaction. Jay has met several Biotech companies and CROs. The next DIA meeting will be held in Chicago (USA) on June 18-22. Data MATRIX will participate with a booth #1057.
